The Mayor of Freetown, Yvonne Aki-Sawyerr, today held her first general meeting with the entire staff of the Freetown City Council to appraise them of her commitment to team work, her plans to transform Freetown and the critical role of FCC staff in achieving those plans.
Her Worship, Madam Aki-Sawyerr said it was time to transform and change the face of the city, a promise she made during campaign. She called on all FCC staff to work hard and join hands together to achieve this dream.
Madam Aki-Sawyerr emphasized that her vision statement – *Fɔ wi Kɔmyuniti*, *Fɔ wi Progrɛs* and *Fɔ wi Fritɔng* – which encompasses her plan for the city would be the blueprint for bringing the required transformation to Freetown.
