THE TORMENTOR OF NIGERIA’S SUPER EAGLES ALHAJI KAMARA IS BACK IN TOWN TO LEAD LEONE STARS TO VICTORY AGAINST BENIN

One name in Sierra Leone that Nigerians will not forget in a hurry is Leone Stars striker Alhaji Kamara who plies his trade with the Danish professional soccer team, Randers FC.

When Leone Stars stunned the world last year by becoming one of the first teams in a competitive international tournament ever to make a dazzling comeback from four goals down to draw 4-4 with the Super Eagles of Nigeria at Benin City, Nigeria, Alhaji Kamara was the tormentor-in-chief who kept the Nigeria defense working overtime and scrambling all over the place to keep the Leone Stars at bay.

Despite their best efforts Nigeria could not effectively contain the marvelous Alhaji and he was the kingpin of that historic rearguard Leone Stars display as he netted two great goals to leave Africa’s most populated nation in stunned disbelief.

According to SIERRA SPORTS , Alhaji Kamara is back in town to help lead Leone Stars to victory today against Benin and qualify Sierra Leone for her third Africa Nations Cup in history.

Alhaji will be starring alongside other crack Leone Stars forwards Kwame Quee. Mustapha , if he too has arrived and the phenomenal Kei Kamara to give Leone Stars and the nation the victory and joy we deserve. With the Sweden-based twin brothers Alhassan and Alusine Koroma also expected to feature, Leone Stars have a good opportunity to make today the day when we recapture our modest soccer glory once again.

It is very certain that at least one of the three—Alhaji. Quee and Kei Kamara —will get the nation a goal , which is all we need to qualify for theAfrica Nations Cup tomorrow. But to avoid being shocked with a late equalizer as Lesotho did, Leone Stars will be better off providing themselves a cushion by going out to get more goals.

It is a home match, but Leone Stars’ task will not be easier, given that Benin are now a big force to be reckoned with in African football. Leone Stars will need to keep their feet on the pedal and allow no over-confidence or complacency.

With the tormentor back in the squad, we hope the Leone Stars click and score goals to win and qualify.
