VIDEO : Maada Bio renounces New Direction manifesto and says he cannot change Sierra Leone

President Maada Bio has shocked the nation by confessing  that because of the limited time left for him and democratic principles, he is not able to change the country.

President Bio’s confession that he can not change the country has stunned Sierra Leoneans who consider it a public admission that he has failed the country.

It is also regarded as an admission that he fooled Sierra Leoneans when he sought their votes by promising to usher change in Sierra Leone through his NEW DIRECTION manifesto. President Bio’s confession is being aligned with the same kind made by the late President Joseph Momoh, who in 1988, confessed in public that he had failed the nation.

The confession by Bio is also being described as having deep moral and political ramifications. What does President Bio mean in his public confession  that he is no longer able to change the country because of democratic principles ? How can democracy stop a President from changing his country ?  Is Bio saying that he is no longer able to continue battering the country to shape it into his own image, because of democratic principles ? . What is democracy stopping him  from doing to make him change Sierra Leone ?

Some Sierra Leoneans are wondering whether President Bio wanted to continue his violent crackdown on dissent, to kill, kill, kill, suppress, suppress , suppress to accomplish what he conceived to be “Change ” but democracy stopped him.  What is democracy ? Why would democracy stop somebody from changing a country,  if he was up to any good ? Should democracy not have helped him change the country ? Democracy transforms a country for the better. It has never been heard before that democracy stopped a President from changing a country.

Is President Bio saying that the bloodshed and wickedness he wanted to perform, he could not, because they were antithetical to the principles of democracy ?   Maada Bio not a fool as many people think. He knew what he was saying. He is a calculated and deliberate killer and anti- democrat. He was being truthful to Sierra Leoneans.
