Why is the PPRC silent about the threatening remarks from SLPP members and President Bio ?

It is deeply troubling when the same system that imprisons individuals for so-called “inciting statements” turns silent when far more dangerous words come from the highest office in the land.

A President’s words are not ordinary, they carry authority, influence, and consequences. Suggesting harm against citizens for exercising their democratic right to vote is not just irresponsible, it is a direct threat to democracy itself. It creates fear, suppresses freedom, and divides a nation that should be united under the rule of law.

Justice must never be selective. If the law is applied harshly to the weak but ignored for the powerful, then it ceases to be justice, it becomes oppression. Sierra Leone deserves leadership that protects rights, not intimidates them.

A dangerous line has been crossed. When a government jails citizens for “incitement” under cyber laws, yet allows the highest authority to speak of death over political choice, then justice has been turned upside down.

This is not leadership. This is intimidation. This is not democracy this is fear. The power of the ballot must be never be replaced by the fear of the bullet. No Sierra Leonean should feel threatened for choosing a different path.

We cannot build a nation where the law punishes the weak and protects the powerful. We cannot stay silent when words come out from leadership begins to sound like warnings instead of protection. .

PPRC , the people are watching. The truth is clear and history will judge you.
