The Ambassador said he could not have come to the U.S. and not paid a special visit to ” My elder comrade and brother ” . He also cherished the opportunity to meet with some Sierra Leoneans as well as members of the party. He was full of praise for the excellent work being done on the media front by the minister plenipotentiary through the Government International Media Network at the Sierra Leone Permanent Mission to the UN and the Cocorioko newspaper, and for the devotion of APC party members .
The minister plenipotentiary also highly commended the ambassador and the Permanent Representative to the AU, AmbassadorOsman Keh Kamara for their exemplary performance at the AU . He lauded President Koroma for his wisdom in appointing young people to key positions and tapping on the skills and commitment of youth. The Minister Plenipotentiary also emphasized that the two ambassadors have justified the confidence reposed on them by the President. Also commended was the Foreign Minister, Dr. Samura Kamara for his moral support and boost to the work of Sierra Leone’s diplomats abroad.
The minister plenipotentiary said he highly appreciated the brotherly gesture of Ambassador Koroma to pay him this special visit .
Present at the lunch were APC party stalwarts , former New Jersey Chapter President , Mr. Pavi Jalloh and Comrade Foday Mansaray. They were commended by both the visiting ambassador and the minister plenipotentiary for their devotion to the party . The minister plenipotentiary took the opportunity to appraise the ambassador about the marvelous work also being done by the APC New Jersey Chapter, led by its President, Mr. Alimamy Turay, who was unavoidably absent from the lunch.
Ambassador Koroma could have been interviewed by the Cocorioko / SierraCast TV Network on the session he attended at the UN and work at the AU in Ethiopia , but his very tight schedule could not permit.
