The Chairman of the PMDC in Kailahun, Mr. Vonjo Lamin Ngobeh , has just sent out a distress call to the outside world, via COCORIOKO , that SLPP Politicians Momoh Pujeh, John Benjamin , John Karimu, Patrick Foyah and one Sam Macarthy from London have taken over the constituencies in Kailahun and are right now blocking all polling agents from accessing all constituencies ahead of tomorrow’s Presidential Runoff Elections .

With the People’s Movement For Democratic Change ( PMDC) stalwart , Hon. Dauda Tombo Bangura and the All People’s Congress ( APC) Fund-Raising Chairlady ( North America ) , Khadija Sesay also on the line, Mr. Vonjo Ngobeh who was badly distressed and said he was on the way to the Commanding Officer’s Depot to launch a formal complaint, said the four men have seized control of Constituencies 5, 6, 7 and 8. Mr. Ngobeh said the following :

Momoh Pujeh has taken control of Constituency 8 where he contested and there a lot of fake registration took place. . Similarly, John Benjamin , Karimu and Sam Macarthy have seized control of Constituencies 7, 6 and 5 respectively. All four men have declared the constituencies ” No-Go” areas for the APC AND PMDC and polling agents. They are harassing all supporters of the two parties and agents.
Hon Ngobeh said it was a well-orchestrated plan from Freetown, also involving the Sierra Leone Ambassador to Liberia, Patrick Foyah , Dr. Sama Banya and the leadership of the ruling SLPP .”They have brought tribalism into the whole thing. They have gone to all the villages and told the people that if they allow the Temnes to come back to power, they will enslave the Mendes. .They have also distributed machetes to people and they have brought in the poro devil. Right now in my own town of Baiima, the poro devil is out and they are terrorizing the people . In Daru, the people have gone into the bush to prepare their poro devil too . They planned to use them to terrorize voters. There are problems all over the district ..Patrick Foyah has orgered that no APC or PMDC person or their polling representatives must enter the town of Gbawoyahun .The polling reps who went there were driven away and they have just walked 8 miles back to return to Kailahun, under the heavy rain “, he reported.
They are doing multiple registration and they want to tamper with the boxes. I am calling on the International Community and the Elections Commission to do something now or else no voting will take place tomorrow. They have also set up illegal roadblocks and checkpoints all over the district.
Mr. Ngobeh said the problems are widespread. He had just received reports that the APC and PMDC Polling representatives are right now stranded in Bo , on their way to Kenema, because all the vehicle drivers are being intimidated not to take them .”We have sent message to them to do everything to take Okadas to get to Kenema ”
COCORIOKO has tried to get to Mr.John Benjamin but the telephone company keeps saying that all circuits to the country being called are busy.

On this eve of the runoffs, I want to extend my sincerest and kissful thanks to that hunky political giant, Solo-B, who is going to win the election emphatically with the much deserved 75% we the SLPP have been threatening for ever. I extend my commiserating arms to all the APC cab drivers (I don’t want to be supercillious but all the APC supporters I have met so far in the States are either cabbies or former cabbies) because their dreams of an Ernest win is gonna evaporate again like the Powerball jackpot win so many of them so assidiously chase.
My dim-witted APC friends, why don’t you learn from our SLPP hunks? We will win hands down ‘cos we are not going to play nice. We are going to rig and steal the damn runoff outright. Look at the reign of terror our RUDE BOYS, Johnny B, Johnny K, Pujeh and Foyah are already inflicting on Kailahun. We are going to win every single ballot in Kailahun district plus 100,000 more as a bonus, and all APC can do is cry and whine to Cocorioko. Oooooh, we are so scared of Kabs Kanu!
We are also gonna rig Kenema and Bo districts like crazy, baby. Infact we will manufacture enough votes in the South and East to guarantee a win even if we don’t get a vote elsewhere.
Don’t even get me started about our plans for Freetown. That bastion of APC support will be on lockdown tomorrow as our thousands of Kamajor mercenaries work to pacify and sanitize the vote. We will get our 75% and there is nothing Victor Angelo or Ban Ki Moon can do. Of course the “international community is gonna be pissed, but they will get over it. Trust me.

This is a big thank you to the entire Cocorioko staff for an excellent work during this elections period in our beloved country. Policy makers and other Foreigners get there information about Sierra Leone from this medium.
Rev. kabs keep up the good job and do not listen to ant distractors. On the issue of the runoff which is slated for tommorrow, I can say the SLPP is goin to win, they might not win it fairly but my gut feeling is telling me it is going to be rigged. i got to this conclusion because of recent moves made by the SLPP, like preventing Hon. Ernest Bai Koroma and entourage from campaigning in the south/east of the country. They (SLPP) have mounted a massive tribalistic campaign in the South /East by demonizing the APC. It is really sad because our people in those regions of the country are not critical thinkers to read between the lines.
All I can say to the APC and its supporters is the SLPP is going to mess up big time again. Let them reatin Ernest Koroma because his personality has got more voters for the party, I watched him on youtube and he is the right person for that country presently. I am sure they will win the next elections in the first round. On the other hand,the SLPP is going to be in turmoil by the next elections because the party base do not really want Solomon Berewa and he will want to cling on the the leadership, that will cause cracks within the party. Abdoulaye Wade of Senegal stayed in the opposition for over ten years, though the APC will not be for that long, let them just be patient and preserve our hard won peace.
Let me say this again with the likes of the Kailahun district mafia directing the operations of the SLPP, they have sinister plans for this runoff.

Sir, I respectfully disagree with you that SLPP is going to win the election. Winning an election and rigging and election are quite different things. I however agree with you that SLPP is going to rig the election, but that will bring their downfall because the only way they can do that is in kailahun. Check how many registered voters in kailahun and the most important thing is when the votes from kailahun are more than the registered voters, then we cannot allow those results. Few weeks ago I was informed that John Benjamin and others have given money to the people of Kailahun, especially ex Kamajors to regroup and disrupt any voting activity that will favor the APC/PMDC during the run-offs. One of the SLPP supporters told me that it was a propaganda news. Unfortunately, if what cocorioko is reporting is true, then my information was credible. If my source is credible, the other part of that is likely true. According to source, the SLPP have shipped a lot of ex-Kamajors to the North and West especially freetown to cause chaos during the run-offs.
Do these people believe they can succeed? The SLPP are doing more harm to them selves than good. If these guys do not allow voting to take place in Kailahun, what do they expect NEC could do? Throw those votes away. And if those votes are cancel who loose?

Fellows,
People will once again come out tomorrow to defy the odds and speak as loud as they can. Politicians and campaigners using tribalism to fan haterd in order to win the run-off will once again be disappointed.
Whether Northerners vote for the APC on tribal grounds, or the South-East votes for Mendes on tribal grounds, none of them will be doing good for the country.
Because we all know that no one region or one tribe can ever rule that country without the others, it should be time for us to start working against tribalism instead of using it to make people or regions become bias against one another.
