President Ernest Bai Koroma maintains a comfortable lead as counting continues in Sierra Leone’s presidential elections. According to the provisional results reported from the polling stations so far, President Koroma has won 62. 74 % of the votes against 32.70% by his challenger, Mr. Maada Bio , from the Sierra Leone People’s Party ( SLPP ). The winner needs 55% of the total votes to be declared victor without a runoff.
