COMRADES AND GRASSROOTS MEMBERS OF THE APC , TIME TO BE MORE VIGILANT THAN EVER
COMRADES and grassroots members of the Mighty APC, as Senior Adviser of the party, I, KABS KANU, am encouraging everyone of you to be very vigilant and to closely follow up the negotiations about to be instituted between the APC and the SLPP.
While we trust our party executive that they will negotiate in the best interest of our party, let us remember that AU and ECOWAS cannot be trusted because they support sitting governments and will most likely support the SLPP ‘s line of arguments. Also, the Peace Council formed by President Bio is not reliable and is pro- SLPP. I think the U.S and EU should have joined the team of negotiators because they are unbiased and neutral. We do not want any undue pressures to be put on the APC to accept conditions that will be short of release of the disaggregated polling stations results and where this cannot be done for the results to be annulled. Also, the whole ECSL , which is comprised of Mendes and supporters of the SLPP should be dismantled and neutral people from various tribes appointed to run it. If that is not done, 2028 will be much the same.
I call on all COMRADES and grassrooters to become part of the negotiations from the sidelines. We must resist and reject any negotiation that deviates from the conditions we have given the executive. The elections were criminally rigged and the results must not stand. Anything short of this must be rejected .
We must not go to sleep because the destiny of our party and our country are at stake. The negotiations must be between the system and the people of Sierra Leone. It is what the people of Sierra Leone want that should be promoted and accepted. Our COMRADES have died from this process. Let their deaths not be in vain.
The blood of Evangelist Sampson ,Haja , White Boy and all those murdered by this wicked SLPP Government are crying out from the grave. They must not die in vain. Maada Bio must not be allowed to have his way in these negotiations. The interests of the APC and the people of Sierra Leone must not be shortchanged in these negotiations. It should be give- and – take but the results of the COI and unfreezing of accounts and return of confiscated properties must not form part of these negotiations because they have nothing to do with elections issues. If done, they must only be a bonus.
We must stand strongly against any appeasements that will satisfy only certain people and not the interests of the APC in general and the people of Sierra Leone. We know the COI was biased and illegally targeting certain people but after we succeed in these negotiations, the COI will be the next issue. But this time, it is the annulment of the bogus elections that must be pursued. This is a serious national issue and the future of our nation depends on these negotiations. Please let us remain engaged and be part of the negotiations from the sidelines.
Long live the mighty APC. Long live the people of Sierra Leone.

ACID TEST FOR SAMURA KAMARA APC
By Kabs Kanu
Time to speak truth to power within our beloved Mighty APC has come.
The true character (Turgidity, spine, resilience, undefeatable strong will, faithfulness to the demands of the grassroots and seriousness over its own future) of the post- Siaka Stevens/ S. I. Koroma / C. A . Camara – Taylor / Nancy Steele/ Akibo Power APC is about to be tested by how they engage in and emerge from the forthcoming brinksmanship with the SLPP in negotiations to be conducted by international stakeholders.
The old APC of Siaka Stevens / S. I would have been trusted to give SLPP fire and brimstone and would not have yielded an inch of ground until all their demands were met. We, the people, are looking up to the present APC of Samura Kamara, Minkailu Mansaray, Osman Yansaneh and Lansana Dumbuya to demonstrate the same old APC spine and spirit of DO OR DIE . The present APC executive are about to be tested in the fiery furnace of faithfulness to the values that epitomized the APC when it fought and defeated the SLPP of Sir Albert Margai.
We will expect nothing less. SLPP must release the disaggregated polling stations results or accept that the whole elections were rigged and order a rerun under international supervision. There will be no true resolution of the crisis and reconciliation without this. Our MPs and councilors must not take their seats at all without the fulfillment of these conditions.
APC must not surrender its demands for any reason.
Maada Bio must not be allowed to get away with bold-faced daylight robbery and impunity.
I am confident that Samura Kamara and his indomitable team will represent APC with honor, panache and boldness and they will give nothing away.
The future of the APC depends on the forthcoming talks. What we stand fast to achieve from these talks will determine whether APC will smell power again in Sierra Leone.
