Concerned Sierra Leoneans in Georgia storm CDC to urge President Obama to help eradicate Ebola epidemic

Some concerned Sierra Leoneans in Atlanta , Georgia came out yesterday to rally in front of the Centres For Disease Control and Prevention ( CDC ) during the visit there of U.S. President Barak Obama

“We were expressing our appreciation to him for his announcement of helping us on the fight to eradicate Ebola, and also urging him and his International partners to do more as our people are dying every day, ” one of the organizers , Amadu Kassim Jah, told COCORIOKO  yesterday. He went on : “Not doing more will be catastrophic. As we all know our Extra ordinary President and his team are doing everything that is in their disposal to bring the situation under control. I just returned from Sierra Leone myself  three weeks ago, and Sierra Leone need us more than ever. All hands should be on deck to help us in this fight it’s not only the governments responsibility but all of us collectively” .

 Mr . Jah further informed COCORIOKO :  “We held a fundraising last Saturday in front of Walmart selling donuts, and hot dogs with the help our kids for $5 per box. We also had people to sign our petition to forward to our local, state, and federal representatives to bring the Ebola fight to the fore front. The funds we are raising will be used to buy some needed PPE’s for our country. We will be holding more fund raising  We will be holding more fund raising events in the coming weeks. “
