President Dr Ernest Bai Koroma receives highest honour in the Republic of Benin as Grand Commander of the National Order of the Republic of Benin. The honour was conferred on the President by his host, President Boni Yayi at the Presidential Palace in Cotonou, Republic of Benin.
The President was honoured for his steadfastness in fighting corruption, promoting good governance, political tolerance, peace and stability.
President Koroma was also commended and honoured for the economic growth Sierra Leone is enjoying at the moment.
Ministers, diplomats and senior government officials in Benin queue to congratulate President Dr Ernest Bai Koroma shortly after being awarded the highest honour in the Republic of Benin as Grand Commander of the National Order of the Republic of Benin.
