INVITATION FOR BIDS

 

PROPOSED RENOVATION OF THE CHANCERY BUILDING OF THE PERMANENT MISSION OF SIERRA LEONE TO THE UNITED NATIONS,

245 EAST 49^TH STREET, NEW YORK, NY 10017

Renovation Location:                    The Chancery Building of the Permanent Mission of

Sierra Leone to the United Nations in New York.

The Government of the Republic of Sierra Leone has secured funds for the renovation of its Chancery Building located at 245 East 49^th Street, New York NY 10017 and now invites sealed bids from credible and reputable contractors.

 

Bidding is open to local and international contractors who can demonstrate the ability to undertake this work and complete same to a very high standard and according to specifications in contract time. Bidders must be able to demonstrate that they are in possession of sufficient human, technical and financial resources as well as the administrative and organizing ability to perform the Contract.

 

Interested bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding document at the address below between 10:00am and 1:00 pm daily.  Bidding documents (and additional copies) may be purchased at the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Sierra Leone at 336 East 45^th Street, 8^th Floor, New York, NY 10017 for a non-refundable fee of   $100.00 (One Hundred USD).

 

Bids shall be valid for a period of 90 (ninety) days after Bid opening and must be accompanied by a bid security in the amount of $105,000.00 (One Hundred and Five Thousand USD), which  must be delivered at the above address on or before 12:00 noon on Monday, 16^th November, 2015.
Each bid MUST be submitted with the following:

1. A copy of a valid New York State business license;

2. A copy of a valid New York State business registration certificate;
3. A copy of valid New York State Tax Clearance Certificates (for last three Financial Years);
4. A list of recent contracts performed in the last two years (please indicate location)
5. Contractor classification
6. Evidence of Financial capability in the form of a Line of Credit from a reputable Bank or an audited financial statement for the last two years; and
7. A bid Security of $105,000.00 (One Hundred and Five Thousand USD) from a reputable Bank.

 

Bids will be opened on Monday, 16^th November, 2015 at 12:00 noon in the presence of bidders or their representatives who choose to attend, at the address below. Late bids will be rejected and returned unopened to bidders.
