SIERRA LEONE : AN ANGRY NATION

SIERRA LEONEANS ARE VERY ANGRY. LET US GET THAT STRAIGHT. Let the flip-flopping and feet-dragging international community know this and begin finding more constructive ways to initiate more dialogue and more assistance to the country.What they have in place is not enough.
All you need to do to believe that Sierra Leone has become a very angry nation is to listen to the videos and audios on social media. Through these audios and videos, you feel the intensity of the anger coursing through the veins of Sierra Leoneans. The kinds of profanities and mammy cuss you hear show that Sierra Leone has become a very angry nation, which is not good for our country.
It will be calamity ( Masibo ) the day this anger crystallizes and is unleashed. The international community and the world are playing down the anger in Sierra Leone. Something has to be done to reduce the anger in our nation.What is going on is not enough, I repeat.
Our people are not angry for nothing. They have been abused, neglected and ripped off for long by heartless politicians and citizens since Independence. And the coming to power in 2018 of Maada Bio has exacerbated the problems of the Sierra Leonean people. Nothing got better. Things got worse. But there are still members of the international community that have not appreciated the early warning signs.
Sierra Leone are angry and these are some of the reasons :
Injustice everywhere, fake leadership, broken promises, broken hopes , heartless neglect , chronic youth unemployment: police and army brutality; rats, bedbugs, roaches and rotten landlords; marginalization , oppression and provocation of rival tribes and ethnic groups by the provocative and tribalistic Maada Bio government ; the rich getting richer and the poor becoming paupers and tramps in their own country as all the development initiatives mounted by Presidents Ahmad Tejan Kabbah and Ernest Bai Koroma after the war have been suspended by President Maada Bio who is more interested in witch hunts than development projects ; sexual abuse and sexual exploitation of children and even big women ; people starving; dying needlessly of simple diseases because no reliable medical care; no light, no water; exorbitant food prices, no food to eat ; no adequate transportation ; traveling so expensive ; fake news and fake promises in government media; University and college degrees sold to richest bidders; exploitative teachers and professors ; no money in circulation. The President and his wife traveling all over the world aimlessly with nothing to bring home to show; AND NOTHING IS IN PLACE AT THIS TIME TO ARREST THESE PROBLEMS, WHICH HAVE WORSENED UNDER THE TYRANNICAL AND SHAMBOLIC RULE OF MAADA BIO.
Who will not be angry under these circumstances.
Everybody is angry .
The pastors and the imams, instead of providing succor, also annoy the people. Every leader in a field is annoying.
So, you can understand why the proliferation of angry videos and audios on social media and the mindless cussing . Everybody dey tcherr now. We have become a nation of mammy cuss.
Something more robust has to be done by the international community to stop the anger in Sierra Leone from boiling over.
We are losing our nation .
