To the world leaders, international partners, and moral guarantors of democracy:

The people of Sierra Leone are crying out for their democratic rights. Across the nation, citizens are demanding transparency, accountability, and respect for the principles of democracy that form the foundation of every free society.

Many Sierra Leoneans believe that serious questions surrounding the 2023 General Elections remain unresolved. These concerns have continued to fuel public frustration and calls for greater transparency in the electoral process. The voices of the people cannot be ignored, silenced, or forgotten.

We call upon world leaders and the international community to listen to the cries of ordinary Sierra Leoneans who seek justice, fairness, and democratic accountability. The credibility of democracy depends not only on elections being held, but also on public confidence that electoral processes are transparent, credible, and reflective of the will of the people.

The implementation of the Tripartite recommendations should proceed with urgency and sincerity. Delays only deepen uncertainty and weaken public trust in democratic institutions. Sierra Leoneans deserve answers, respect, and meaningful action.

History has shown that democracy flourishes when leaders uphold truth, justice, and the rule of law. The people of Sierra Leone are not asking for special treatment; they are asking for their democratic rights to be respected and protected.

Let the world hear our voices. Let the international community recognize the concerns of Sierra Leoneans. Let justice, transparency, and accountability prevail. The future of our nation depends on a democracy that serves the people and honors their aspirations.

The cries of Sierra Leoneans for democratic rights must not go unheard.
