The climax of the day’s event was marked with the issuance of a Permit by the Town Council which paved the way for the Sierra Leonean Community of New Jersey to go on with the schedule parade.

On the issue of tickets for the Dance:
The Secretary General Mr. Gabisi is calling on all Participating Organization of SLCNJ to contact Mr. Sulaiman Kargbo anytime today to pick up their tickets for distribution to their respective members
On the issue of the Parade:
Mr Lamin Alharazim, Chairman of the organization reiterated that he is already getting calls from all over the United States.The Chairman concluded that “I expect a similar turnout for the Parade- especially with the support we are getting from our youths and women organizations.
On the issue of cultural performances:
Mr B.B one of the organizers of the event, a former undercover agent of Sierra Leone police and long time cultural socialist has assured everyone that they will be overwhelm with surprises on this memorable day -April 21st 2012 (PARADE 12 Midday- 7PM # Dance PM to 3AM. Come ready to dance .lonta!!!

In my capacity as Chairman of the Parade Committee, we have put together the best DJ’ Team within our community to give us electrifying music from our motherland and more .There will be plenty of food and fun attractions for the family packed with cultural performances from renowned Sierra Leonean musicians and cultural performers from a global perspective that will keep everyone spell-bound,He added.
Mr Lamin Alharazim summed it all by saying we definitely going to have surprise packages that will rejuvenate everyone commitment to their patriotic duties as Sierra Leoneans.
