Vulgar display of riches : President Bio’s outside son videoed flaunting tens of thousands of dollars on Tik Tok

At a time when Sierra Leoneans are saying DOG YAIYE DEY RUN BLOOD ( The dog’s eyes are running blood-an expression depicting the desperation of hard times in the country ), Presidential wife, Fatima Bio’s son by another man has tens of thousands of hard foreign cash to play with on Tik Tok.

In a very reckless , insensitive and ostentatious display of vulgar riches, the young boy was seen putting on a show and purposely displaying the huge stack of money as if to tell to the public that even he, the kid, is now filthy rich and can display such an enormous sum on money on social media.

As if displaying the money was not enough, the boy then took a photo of himself sitting on the ground by a half-opened bag stacked with dollars that could be in excess of hundred thousand dollars.

The propaganda that the video was fake was further reduced to nonsense when the boy released another video, this time making disparaging remarks while displaying an open suitcase on a bed ,also packed with money.

There is no doubt that the boy was sending a message to hungry and impoverished Sierra Leoneans and opponents of his step- father and his overly ostentatious and boastful mother : “You can say all you want about my father and my mother but we now swim in money “

Nobody could understand how a little boy like that came to be in possession of such money, but even if it did not belong to him, what parents would leave around such a loot of money for a child to play with and make ostentatious videos of himself and the money for social media. It clearly demonstrates that President Bio and his wife have no value for money.

Supporters of the ruling party , the SLPP , described the video as false and the handiwork of APC propaganda. They contended that the boy’s head was superimposed on the body of the person holding the money, but any. I.T. specialist would dismiss such contention outright because everything the head and the body did were in sync with the other. Between making hard and impudent faces to the camera, the boy could also be seen giggling and talking , with his body moving in harmony with his head.

Sierra Leoneans found the video very provocative, given that citizens are presently suffering to make a simple buck, amidst massive unemployment and escalating prices of food and basic commodities, including a bag of rice now rising to half a million leones under this so-called New Direction government.
