SECURITY STAKEHOLDER DOUBTS COUP

In the shadows of Sierra Leone’s recent turmoil, an anonymous stakeholder within the security sector raises a compelling voice, casting doubt on the alleged coup that has shaken the nation. The narrative unfolds with vivid accounts of an attempted takeover: the storming of the armory bridge at Wilberforce, the repelling of assailants, and the intense struggle for almost 10 hours. Yet, the glaring void in this tumultuous saga is the conspicuous absence of physical evidence, leaving us to question the authenticity of the reported events.

As we navigate through the unsettling details, it becomes apparent that the storyline may be marred by the actions of a few unscrupulous citizens seeking to destabilize the nation. The notion of individuals raiding the armory and being repelled to other parts of the city paints a chaotic picture. However, the skepticism arises when we ponder the aftermath. Where are the tangible signs of the fierce gun battles that reportedly transpired? Where are the scars etched on cubicles and buildings, bearing witness to the ferocity of the conflict?

In the pursuit of truth, we must scrutinize the narrative further. The second in command in the military reportedly engaged in a firefight with assailants at Congo Cross and Murray Town junction. This prompts a crucial question: where are the journalists, the watchdogs of society, in unraveling the layers of this mysterious event? War is no trivial matter, and the lack of visible evidence raises legitimate concerns.

A poignant moment is highlighted—the loss of a lieutenant colonel in battle. Yet, amidst this somber reality, the absence of any explanation or video showcasing evidence of the battle adds another layer of incredulity to the narrative. How can such a significant event unfold without leaving a trace of its occurrence?

As concerned citizens, we are beckoned to delve deeper, to seek the truth that remains shrouded in uncertainty. The call echoes for individuals to inspect the grounds where these purported battles took place—searching for bullet holes, bomb blasts, and any tangible remnants of the reported clashes. In a time where the nation demands clarity, transparency, and accountability, the plea is for an open investigation to unravel the truth beneath the surface.

Sierra Leone stands at a crossroads, demanding answers and evidence to dispel the looming shadows of doubt. The quest for truth in the aftermath of this alleged coup is not just a matter of curiosity; it is an imperative for the integrity of the nation and its people.

The sequence of events as they unfolded on 26th November 2023 narrated by the Bio government can only be persuasive and convincing to those whose brain cannot fill the smallest tin can. They include the secretary general and current chairman of ECOWAS.
How can a small group of alleged coup makers, made up of civilians and some soldiers, having been repelled from overrunning an arms depot within the confines of Wilberforce Barracks, were quickly able to disperse in different directions and attack different places almost simultaneously? What were the security forces doing when the alleged coup makers moved from Wilberforce Barracks to Cockerill Barracks where they killed some soldiers, including a senior officer? Counting their fingers? From Cockerill the rag -tag force also miraculously surfaced at Pademba Road Prison, shot their way in and freed all the inmates. Their supernatural powers also placed them as far away as Waterloo where they disarmed officers at a police station who quickly fled.
What we have here is a comedy show whose script was ill written by Bio and his gang of incoherent thinkers that went badly wrong. It’s all in the name of Bio’s undiluted determination to hold on to power by distorting facts, the main one being that the majority of Sierra Leoneans would love to see the back of him.
Bio knows that he is fighting with his back to the wall, which makes him very dangerous. Not only is he being haunted by the outcome of the 24th June 2023 general elections but by the real possibility that he could be indicted by ICC. To add to his woes Western intelligence agencies must have woken up to his false claims that there was an attempt to overthrow him. Only brain dead so-called ECOWAS leaders can buy into his trickery.
