The political atmosphere in Sierra Leone is becoming more and more predictable, demonstrating how much and why Sierra Leoneans do not trust their politicians.
The NGC came out this evening with their newsletter which has made it plain and clear that the decision for the NGC to go into possible coalition with the SLPP was a unanimous decision by the National Executive Committe of the party .
This will come as another big blow to the people of Sierra Leone, in view of the fact that the Chairman of the NGC, Dr. Dennis Bright, has over the years , proved to be the fearless spokesman of the people against the gross misrule, rampant corruption and human rights abuses of the ruling SLPP.
If the NGC newsletter is anything to go by, Dr. Dennis Bright will have to come out with a strong statement to avoid being classed in the same category as KKY , who is now perceived as a disgrace and total failure 😞 in Sierra Leone 🇸🇱 —a political failure , who failed himself and his followers. He has to prove that he has not joined Kandeh Yumkella in the Hall of infamy, KKY having demonstrated that he is a man without any integrity or political fibre and was just an opportunist condemning the SLPP misrule without any conviction or moral purpose. Kandeh is now looked at as a carpetbagger just waiting for the opportunity to do just what Sierra Leonean politicians are adept at—-selling out to the government in power.
