More international observer teams and media are heading to Sierra Leone. The June 24 elections have international ramifications written all over them as international stakeholders seek democracy and avoid chaos in one country that could spill to neighbouring countries and spurn humanitarian and refugee calamites that will tax their dwindling resources.

Liberia and Sierra Leone, once flashpoints of chaos in West Africa, are under hawk- eyed international radar and even the UN and the U.S are concerned about the forthcoming elections in the two fragile states.

International observers will be in full gear and attendance in voting stations and counting and tallying centers to ensure credible elections .
