Red Roaring East End Lions , the Champions club of Sierra Leone, have taken something very positive out of their brilliant performance in neighbouring Liberia early this month. They are confident of performing better this time in the African Champions League.
It must be recalled that the Killers East End Lions returned from Liberia unscathed with two draws under their hat early last month. On Saturday September 4, East End Lions were forced to a 1-1 draw by Liberia’s champions Mighty Barrolle. Lions scored first through Musa Sesay and led 1-0 for a spell before the Liberians equalized in the second half.
In their second match against former champions , Invincible Eleven ( IE ), Lions were again held to a 1-1 draw after leading 1-0 at halftime after a goal by Mohamed Wiseman.
Lions are now busy preparing for the African Champions League .
