Ghanaian President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to Pay One-day Working Visit to Freetown

His Excellency, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, President of the Republic of Ghana will on Wednesday, 24th May 2017, pay a one-day friendly and working visit to the Republic of Sierra Leone during which he will hold bilateral talks with his host, His Excellency Dr Ernest Bai Koroma, President of the Republic of Sierra Leone.

 

The Ghanaian President would be accompanied by a high level delegation made up of ministers and senior government officials.

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo will also meet with the Ghanaian Community in Sierra Leone. He is Ghana’s fifth leader of the fourth republic after winning more than 53% of the votes cast in the December ballot of 2016.

According to the Presidential Spokesman, Mr. Abdulai Bayraytay, the Ghanaian president is paying an official state visit to Sierra Leone and himself and President Koroma  will also hold a joint press conference at State House. It is more of deepening the bilateral relations between the two countries
