President Julius Maada Bio Assigns Dr. Kandeh K. Yumkella as Chair of Energy Governance Coordination Group (EGCG)
As part of President Julius Maada Bio’s determination to address the challenges in the energy sector, the Chairman, Presidential Initiative for Climate Change, Renewable Energy and Food Security, Dr. Kandeh K. Yumkella, has been assigned with special responsibilities to chair a new Energy Governance Coordination Group (EGCG).
The Energy Governance Coordination Group is an initiative to ensure coherence and effective coordination within the Ministry of Energy.
My sincere congratulations to Dr. Yumkella on this special assignment. His expertise and dedication to the vision of President Bio have been truly commendable over the past year.
I have no doubt that Dr. Yumkella’s wealth of experience and knowledge of the energy sector will serve as great anchor for supporting President Bio in transforming the energy sector in Sierra Leone.
