Sierra Leoneans gearing up for highly contested and unprecedented elections

The people of Sierra Leone are gearing up for what promises to be a highly contested presidential election on 24 June 2023. Among the contenders, Dr Samura MW Kamara has emerged as a clear favourite, with over 70% of Sierra Leoneans seeing him as the experienced and honest leader who can heal and unite the country.

Our candidate Dr Kamara has been crisscrossing the country, spreading his message of peace, unity, and security for all Sierra Leoneans. In the Susu area of Lungi, he was received by an unbelievably large crowd, who chanted their desire for change and their wish to be free from the economic hardship, political intimidation, and social division that have plagued the country in recent years.

Dr Kamara’s message has resonated with the people of Sierra Leone, who have been yearning for a leader who can bring the country together and steer it towards a brighter future. His vision for the country is founded on the principles of peace, unity, and security, which he believes are the bedrock of sustainable development.

As an experienced and honest leader, Dr Kamara has set himself apart from his rivals, who are often seen as divisive and untrustworthy. His track record as a public servant speaks for itself, having served in various capacities, including as Finance Minister and Foreign Minister, during which time he earned a reputation for integrity, competence, and empathy.

With Sierra Leone facing numerous challenges, including poverty, corruption, and environmental degradation, the country needs a leader who can provide solutions to these issues. Our candidate Dr Samura Kamara has a clear plan to tackle these challenges, which includes investing in education, healthcare, and infrastructure, as well as creating an enabling environment for the private sector to thrive.

We believe that Dr Kamara’s message of peace, unity, and security is what Sierra Leone needs at this critical juncture in its history. His experience, honesty, and commitment to the welfare of the people make him the best choice to lead the country towards a brighter future. We plead to Sierra Leoneans to come out in large numbers on election day and vote for Dr Samura Mathew Wilson Kamara, the leader who will heal and unite Sierra Leone.
