*CHASING THE SLPP INTO POLITICAL OBLIVION‼️*
By Alpha Omega
On one hand according to the SLPP, Maada Bio is safe till 2028, because his supporters say no law in Sierra Leone can remove him from office until then.
On the other hand, those same SLPP supporters and Commander Quee (in particular – see video) are now angered (and grumbling) because of the contents of a letter purportedly sent from UNECOWAS/ECOMISIL to Bio.
Unfortunately for Commander Quee (and SLPP), beside their grumblings they have not made the public privy to that letter and/or its contents. So one cannot decide between the UNECOWAS/ECOMISIL and SLPP/Commander Quee, who to believe or follow.
So can the SLPP/Commander Quee please make that letter from UNECOWAS/ECOMISIL public now?
Obviously it must be a weighty document, because by Commander Quee’s inferences it would appear to be challenging the continued legitimacy of Maada Bio as President and Commander-in-Chief of this Sovereign State of Sierra Leone, even though that challenge is resonating countrywide much more than their own parochial convictions.
In the event, I don’t think Commander Quee need fret himself much as like a moth fretting a garment, because as Maada Bio has warned, his continued stay in power until 2028 is iron-cast, and anyone or group of persons/people daring to attempt to remove him from power by bullets will be met with bullets. And that was less than six (6) months ago.
So what’s all the panic, apprehensions and premonitions by SLPP and Commander Quee about UNECOWAS/ECOMISIL forces landing here?
As a matter of fact the last person to panic should be Commander Quee. This is because on more than one occasion he has hoisted voice and/ or video notes threatening the APC in particular and Sierra Leoneans at large with fire and brimstone type apocalypse should anyone dare to question the authority of Maada Bio to continue ruling on the stolen mandate ECSL/Mohammed Konneh bestowed upon him in 27th June 2023 unto 2028.
Commander Quee’s SLPP Party Chairman Dr. Prince Alex Harding (a.k.a Bullet) is also on record that the SLPP will only hand power over to a designated nominee of Maada Bio which definitely excludes anyone in the APC Party .
Instead of piling bile which in turn could poison him slowly to death, I would advise Commander Quee to live up to his threats and begin to muster his much vaunted Kamajor Canibal forces in readiness to challenge the UNECOWAS/ECOMISIL *bullet for bullet* as Maada Bio had threatened, even before the stabilization forces are landed. That is if it’s not already too late.
Finally I note from his address that Commander Quee would appear to have been wrongly *Sierra Leoneans* in general. But I’m afraid I have to frankly caution him here that as things stand, not even his own tribesmen in the South-East would heed his call to arms against UNECOWAS/ECOMISIL because at at latest Surveys concluded by Andrew Lavallie and Ibrahim Tommy of the Institute for Governance Reforms/Afro-Barometer AND Center for Accountability and Rule of Law – respectively – 85% out of eight million citizens in this country (comprising Infants, Youths and Adolescents) are only waiting for the signal to chase the SLPP out into the political oblivion for good.

Freetown, SIERRA LEONE – The ECOWAS Committee of Chiefs of Defence Staff (CCDS) has sanctioned the deployment of a 1,200-strong stabilization force to Sierra Leone, with the mission’s first phase set to begin on September 15, 2024. This deployment comes amid ongoing efforts by ECOWAS to address security challenges and maintain stability within the region.
During this initial phase, known as Phase One, the mission will focus on establishing its operational presence, including the formation of a Force Headquarters, a Joint Intelligence Fusion Centre, and a composite battalion. ECOWAS has emphasized the need for heightened vigilance during this period, given the increased vulnerability of the mission as it establishes itself in the field.
The force, referred to as the ECOWAS Mission in Sierra Leone (ECOMISIL), has been granted a broad mandate, which includes supporting Sierra Leone’s defence forces in creating a secure environment, protecting vital state institutions, and ensuring the safety of civilians. Additionally, the mission aims to strengthen trust between the population and the defence and security forces, contributing to the overall stability and democratic governance in the country.
The ECOWAS statement outlined that the mission’s political-strategic objectives are to implement a comprehensive and inclusive resolution to the current political crisis in Sierra Leone and to ensure long-term peace and stability. The military strategic objectives focus on deterring any threats of instability and creating favourable conditions for the prosperity of democracy.
The approval of this deployment underscores ECOWAS’s commitment to safeguarding political stability and supporting the socio-economic well-being of the people in Sierra Leone. This mission is part of the broader operationalization of the ECOWAS Standby Force, a regional initiative aimed at responding swiftly to security crises across West Africa. CC/15/9/2024
